Preparation

  • TRADITIONAL PREPARATION:
    Preheat the oven to 180º.Up and down, without air

    Grease a 30 cm rectangular mold

    Put the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, yeast, salt and ginger powder if that is what you are going to use) Mix

    In another bowl, beat the eggs with the pumpkin and creamed butter and add to the flour mixture.

    Add the crushed candied ginger if that is what you are going to use. Remove

    Fill the greased mold and bake for about 60 minutes until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out dry.

    Let cool a little and unmold

    Prepare the glaze: Crush the ginger and mix with the sugar and water until you obtain a paste, if you want more liquid add lemon. Pour over the cake and let dry.

  • THERMOMIX PREPARATION:

    Preheat the oven to 180º.Up and down, without air

    Crush the candied ginger 4 seconds Speed ​​5

    Add the butter and beat 5 seconds Speed ​​6

    Add eggs and pumpkin puree and mix 15 seconds Speed ​​6

    Finally, add the reserved dry ingredients and mix everything for 30 seconds Speed ​​8

    Fill the greased mold and bake for about 60 minutes until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out dry.

    Let cool a little and unmold

    Prepare the glaze: Grind the ginger for 4 seconds at Speed ​​5 and mix for about 20 seconds at Speed ​​3 with the sugar and juice until you obtain a paste. If you want it to be more liquid, add lemon. Pour over the cake and let dry.
